15 Travel Books to Take You Around the World
Between my trips there are always lengthy stretches of time where if I wasn't working I would be reading up on entertaining and insightful travel literature. I’ve worked my way through a diverse mix of guidebooks and adventure travel books, fiction and non-fiction, biographies and first-hand accounts of some of the most foreboding, inspiring, and thought-provoking stories.
Listed below are some of my favorite travel books, as well as a few that have received rave reviews and are on my list of must-reads for the coming year. You’ll find everything from intense historic expeditions to laugh-out-loud funny personal accounts to intimate memoirs. Enjoy!
